Specguard Coating Systems

The origins of Specguard was originally founded in 1976 and focused on Navy and Military projects with the US government. In the late 1990's the company began to shift its focus and started selling our formulated coating systems into the construction market. In the early 2000's we began developing White Reflective Roof Coating products to meet the increasing environmental requirements put forth by the state of California and the title 24 program. Our product development focused on, High water resistance, "withstand ponding areas" High adhesion to each type of roof surface, Durability, "high tensile strength, with strong flexibility, and complete system compatibility. First and foremost we are a formulating and manufacturing company. We formulate and manufacture all our own products and do not rely on toll bending or other private label suppliers. Our roots are in the marine industry and we tend to over engineer our products, but that's good news for our clients and customers because our products exceed industry standards and are designed for strength and long term durability under the toughest conditions. We are an ISO 9001:2015 Certified QMS manufacturer.
